Erika Ricketts

Erika is a Coshocton native and graduated from Muskingum College with B.A. in Speech Communication. Prior to her current position, she was an afternoon announcer. Erika is Traffic Director for WTNS am, WTNS fm, and WKLM fm (Millersburg). She’s a current board member of the United Way of Coshocton County.

Jim Eckelberry

Jim was born in Coshocton and grew up in Columbus. He returned to West Lafayette and graduated from Ridgewood High School. Jim has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Kent State in Marketing. With previous work experience in the grocery business, Jim came to WTNS in 1989 as an Account Representative.

Becky Jacobs

Becky is a life-long resident of Coshocton. She is a mother of two children and has been married for 27 years. She’s involved with The Triple Locks Theater and Footlight Players, CAPA, and multiple school booster organizations. Becky has been an Account Representative at WTNS since 1995.

Jessie Marcincavage

Jessie is a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and has an Associates degree in Broadcasting and Production from Ohio University – Zanesville. She is a News Reporter and covers various Councils and School Boards. She also reports on the Coshocton County Common Pleas Court. Jessie is the mother of one and is a member of Kiwanis. Her board affiliations include First Step, the Charity Train, Coshocton County Career Center, and The Mentoring Center of Coshocton County.

Trevor Griffith

Trevor is a life-long resident of West Lafayette. Trevor came to WTNS in 1997 where he became the evening announcer with programs including the popular “Dedication Lines” and “Trading Post”. Trevor engineers a multitude of sports broadcasts over WTNS fm and is the Program Director of WTNS am. Trevor also owns and operates a DJ Service from his home.

Mike Bechtol

Mike has been the WTNS morning announcer and talk show host since 1994. Born and raised in Coshocton County, Mike is a 1981 graduate of Coshocton High School. In 1986, Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences. Mike has a wide spectrum of interests, including photography, travel, music and cycling.

Tom Thompson

Tom was born and raised in West Lafayette. After graduating from Ridgewood High School, Tom attended Ohio University – Zanesville. He has served as past president of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce, the Coshocton City School Board, and the Coshocton Kiwanis Club. He has chaired numberous school levy committees in Ridgewood and Coshocton school districts. He has chaired a Hospital levy and the Coshocton City Schools Facility Committee. Tom managed the American Legion baseball team for 12 years. He is Sales Manager for both WTNS and WKLM radio stations. He is Sports Director for WTNS.

Bruce Wallace

Bruce was born and raised in Coshocton. After graduating from Coshocton High School, Bruce attended Ashland College. He is the President and General Manager of WTNS am, WTNS fm, and WKLM fm in Millersburg. His interests include tennis, sailing, photography, and reading. He’s been involved with local organizations including the Presbyterian Church, United Way, Central Ohio Technical College, the Coshocton Port Authority, the Chamber of Commerce, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Bruce currently serves as a trustee with the Coshocton Foundation and has been a Rotarian since 1974.

Ken Smailes

Ken was named News Director at WTNS in 1996 after 12 years as a newspaper journalist. He began his career as a sports writer and editor while attending the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, and in 1990 the River View High School graduate returned to his native Coshocton County. He was awarded the Ohio Associated Press’ General Excellence Award for sports writing in 1989 and has received numerous other awards and recognitions since for his reporting, community service, and volunteer activities. As News Director at WTNS and its sister station, WKLM in Millersburg, Ken is responsible for daily news operations at both stations. He anchors the morning newscasts on WTNS and reports on many community issues, meetings and events in Coshocton and Holmes counties. He is also an avid local historian.

Katie Hultz

Katie was born in Coshocton and spent her childhood in Coshocton and also South Carolina. She graduated from River View High School in 1987. After settling back into Coshocton in 1994, employment has been mostly in the sales field until joining the WTNS team in August of 2006. Katie is the mother of four and also a step-mother/grandmother; and besides enjoying family time, has many interests including cooking, baking, and crafting. She is an advocate for those affected by autism, including her son, and is Chairperson for the Autism Society of Coshocton. She also is involved with the Mentoring Center of Coshocton. You will hear Katie play rock, pop, and soul from the 60’s – 80’s, and will hear her hosting the morning Trading Post Program, kindly asking you to keep those calls under 30 seconds . . .
